The Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center is the largest coral reef research center in the world. Nova Southeastern University Oceanographic Center is a center for oceanographical research at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Located on a 10-acre site on the ocean side of Port Everglades, adjacent to the port's entrance, the center has a 1-acre boat basin and affords immediate access to the Gulf Stream, the Florida Straits, and the Bahama Banks.
